seattle - underground tour

we went to seattle yesterday, despite the pouring rain and the "wanting to sit in your pjs with the fireplace on drinking hot chocolate feeling". we did the seattle underground tour, which i would recommend, it was pretty interesting to say the least. we trekked through the cob webs (goosebumps, i hate spiders) and got a few shots:

my beautiful, amazing, talented mama friend is off enjoying time with her new family member, in the meantime she asked us to make a guest post for her! go take a look at just add more sprinkles to see what we did!

in the meantime, i was down in the states for a bit of shopping and realized the love i have (apparently) for bird decor? who would have known. Anyways, i picked up this adorable piece for $5!:



and these amazingly adorable canisters, all three of them for under $20 total! i fell in love with them right away and they quickly became mine:

abandoned village

hey everyone! my husband and i went for a bike ride last weekend ( we go quite a bit ) the ride was a bit of a let down, kind of boring and the trail just ended abruptly but here's a picture from the trip i like:



on the way home, we passed this little village that was completely abandoned for years. there was probably 9 or 10 houses, all abandoned! the weird part was, someone still cuts the grass through the whole village. the houses are totally unsafe, the patios feel like they will cave in under your feet, i wouldn't even consider going inside the houses! here are some pictures:
