anyways, i made john pink heart shaped pancakes. whoopdie doo. not much happened because the beef dog as surgery on valentines.

this week

I'm a huge valentines mush, maybe because i've never actually done anything for valentines? We were excited to have this valentines as our first "married" valentines day. Turns out the dogs needs surgery. thanks beefy ( i love you though ).



I love everything about valentines day, the red, the hearts, the deserts, the over-reacting anti valentines day awareness folks.. it's almost like christmas to me, a christmas i haven't ( really ) experienced.



so the first picture i have for you guys today is actually the week before. I took my niece to the aquarium, it lasted 10 minutes. I got a cliche picture of a jelly fish:



I went to mirands (again), she makes the best spinach dip, we feasted. What a lucky husband she has.



We also valentines crafted, it didn't work out quite like planned, but all was fun anyways, I also burned my finger on a hot glue gun.





These are my nails, i was really proud! i did them all by myself! I was going to do red & white in valentines day spirit, but john wanted purple.

walk for the whistler 100 - sled dogs.

so it's been all over the news, you probably know. I'm not going into it! however this afternoon we drove up to whistler for the walk to remember the dogs. we had beefy and our friends in tow. it was a pretty good turn out.. everyone was super respectful and the rcmp were there to help guide the way. Beefy had a oops with the growth on his ear and it started bleeding everywhere.. not good on a white dog and it probably good have happened at a better time too. We were interviewed by global, cbc & ctv.. i hope they cut that part from there news hour, anyways here's some pictures:

Then we went back through squamish to eat. only thing i can say is: best ketchup EVER. it was like ketchup chip ketchup:
